Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a clan of musicians. Her childhood was spent listening to classical, old boleros and traditional ranchero, romantic and romance ballads. Ana loves tangos as well as operas and other dramatic styles. Her mother taught her to sing, however she started intensifying her vocal instruction under Flavio Belcerra at 16 when he was a renowned Mexican opera Tenor. She continued her musical training in the School of Music of Guadalajara University, and then the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. She sang at Guadalajara, Mexico City and other cities, both as a musician and student. When she moved into the United States in 2000, she sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before shifting to her home in the southern part of California. She currently performs classic Latin American songs at private occasions as a soloist. She's involved in numerous local projects, both as an educator and performer because she is passionate about music and arts. Ana was also an ex-member of Community Chorus of Redlands as in addition to an active member of Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana hopes that through the sharing of Latin American traditional songs, she can instill a love, in particular in the younger generations to keep this tradition living.
